Our Route

Outward bound towards Cape Brett via Te Rawhiti inlet the eastern outer islands and Albert Channel.
Sun Set side excursion to Cape Brett light house and “The Hole in the Rock” ( Motukokako Island )
Overnight anchorage - Urupukapuka Island.
Return via Waewaetorea passage and Okahu Island.

Twin Lagoons, Motuarohai Island - DOC wildlife sanctuary
Waiwhapuha Bay, Moturoa Island - DOC scenic reserve
Deep Water Cove, Cape Brett - DOC coastal reserve

Wild Life

Bottlenose dolphin, Blue penguin, Australasian gannet, varieties of Tern, Shearwater, Gull and Petrel are residents and often seen.
(Occasionally Bottlenose dolphin “choose” to interact with us)

Seal, Whale, common Dolphin, Orca and Artic skua, are migratory or occasional visitors.
